The end game is at play
From the onset, destiny to outplay
Greatness to hold captive, and delay
Playing alongside like an ally
But in reality a foe, never meant to allay
Wrapped in a sensible query
Not meant for inquiry
Rather to elicit doubts
The man of valor hesitates,
Doubts swarm in
Vicious like a tornado,
Erupting like a volcano
From a mere question
That seeks not to inquire
But to question,
Question his dream,
The validity of his mission
The roots of his vision
The question,
That evokes doubt
Deserves silence
A see through of its agenda
A deaf-ear to its voice-
That seemly sound reasonable
But in essence-
A death trap
Where dreams come to a halt
Where visions are burnt
Where greatness is vanquished
Where life is deplored
So when that question comes
“Are you sure?”
Do not answer…
